GDPR Compliance

The GDPR promotes better security practices, as well as increases accountability for those who handle personal data of EU customers.

GDPR Statement

As a worldwide leader in cloud-based security, AppRiver works around the clock to keep your network and inbox safe from all angles of cyberattacks. However, that level of care for our customers doesn’t just end in the cloud – it also extends to your privacy and how we use and protect your personal data.

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) establishes a new framework for data control with additional consumer rights as far as data usage. We believe these changes provide important protections that will help safeguard our customers and partners, and we have taken the necessary steps to comply.

As part of these efforts, we’ve updated our Privacy Policy as well as our Data Protection Annex

Here’s a brief overview of the changes:

  • Increased transparency as to categories of information we collect and why
  • Further explanation as to how we use any of your personal information
  • What rights you have with regard to your data, including the right to have your data deleted

Please contact our compliance team at if you have any additional questions.
